Wolverines enjoy hot lunch
on the Delcastle Fields hills
After last Saturday’s two morning games of fall ball, but before the final afternoon contest, the fastpitch Wesley Wolverines found a welcomed hot lunch waiting for them on a Delcastle hill overlooking the softball fields. It was provided complements of Mark Hoffman, father of senior #99 OF Lauren Hoffman (Middletown, DE), and Joe Retkowski, father of sophomore #23 UT Brooke Retkowski (Baltimore, MD).
A few boyfriends showed up, several parents joined the group, and even some of the player’s family dogs were there, too!
It was quite a buffet of pulled pork and chicken, meat balls, soup, salads, veggies, and dessert.
