Recruit Katie Dunlap has infield
blanketed, playing P, 1B, 2B, 3B!
There are utility players and then there’s Katie Dunlap, an incoming fastpitch freshman Wesley Wolverine for the 2018-19 collegiate season.

Her utility assignments include the starting pitcher’s role, while, when not hurling Ks, she’s capable of easily covering every bag around the pitcher’s circle: e.g., holding down either the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd base positions, as well.
“Katie will allow us to have significant depth at a number of positions making our team much more dynamic,” adds Coach Greep.

“She swings a strong bat and will add significant power to our line up,” says Coach Greep.
Her travel-ball team is the Delaware Diamonds Black 18U. During the past summers, she also has frequently participated in the USSSA Delaware State Championships at Roxana, DE.
In the classroom, she is an honor roll student.
“We will now have four first team all-state players on the squad: Katie, Jess (Anderson), Brandi (Dalious) and Ashley (Royer),"notes Coach Greep.
