Fastpitch Wolverines experience
an arduous CrossFit conditioning
Assistant Coach Nina Marcano brought her CrossFit exercises to the fastpitch Wolverines last night.
She introduced the players to “MetCon” (metabolic conditioning), which meant, in this case, partnered teams of two in dual repeated lifting workouts “AMRAP”-style. AMRAP is an acronym for "as many reps as possible."
The AMRAP winning team (pictured in the second photocollage below) for the most reps was, from left, Wesley Wolverines freshman #1 MI Bianca Newsom (Edison, NJ) and junior #8 OF Megan DiRubbio (Smyrna, DE).
