MYRTLE BEACH DREAMIN'

Week of March 11, 2018, games
North Myrtle Beach dreamin’,
heavy early team registrations

To date, 87 collegiate teams are signed up for next March’s (2018’s) Fastpitch Dreams Spring Classic softball tournament with most, if not all, games held at the beautiful North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex (150 Citizens Circle, Little River, SC).

Wesley Wolverine junior #13 UT Ashley Royer (Lititz, PA).
The Wesley Wolverines are, of course, registered as one of the 87 and no stranger to these games. The team has played at this location since the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex's opening in Spring 2014 as well as many years before on softball diamonds throughout the Myrtle Beach area.

The college softball team registrations cover tournament schedules held the entire month of March on the North Myrtle Beach fields from NCAA, NJCAA and NAIA squads.

The Wolverines will play the week of March 11, 2018, dates that, so far, have attracted a total of 18 other D3 NCAA teams committed to be there. More teams almost certainly will be added well into January 2018.

The Wolverines have enjoyed great success at these South Carolina contests over their last five early-season visits.

Last year, Spring 2017, Wesley tallied a 6-2 record at these games. In Spring 2015, the team won 8 of 9 games, improving on Spring 2015’s 7 wins in 10 games, Spring 2014’s 5 victories in 8 meetings and Spring 2013’s 4-4 record. (Two years ago, the Wolverines traveled to Clermont, Florida, for the southern Spring 2015 games.)
